Thanks again to everyone who is cheerleading during the readathon! To honor my own team (Team Wordsworth…yay!!!!) I have borrowed one of Wordsworth’s poems (“The Solitary Reader”) and changed a few words. I like to think Wordsworth would approve. Please don’t disillusion me.
The Greatest Cheerleaders
Behold, the reader in the chair,
Yon bookish readathoner!
Reading and blogging all day long;
The eyes, they’re a goner.
The reader needs a cheer from you,
To keep them from feeling askew;
Go comment! To help the reader
How crucial is the cheerleader.
No cheerleader ever did cheer
Such awesome comments and chants
As Team Wordsworth in the blogosphere
We’ll kick you in the pants.
Comments so thrilling ne’er were heard
Who cares if we sound absurd,
Cheering can be the greatest fun
And Team Wordworth can’t be outdone.
And okay, so there are two more stanzas that I didn’t make it to, but I’m sure you all get the point.
Team Wordsworth rocks!
Whatcha got to say about that, Byron, Shelley and Keats?

Go Team Byron! Lookout – Care is BACK ON TASK!!
Striving for cheering-supremacy; A step above the rest Team Byron is number 1 The best of the best!
I am having a Blast! Go Team Wordsworth!
Congratulations, cheerleaders! We all did an amazing job! Go Team Wordsworth! XD
